Sternsteiger Stahlwaren and UBUTT DESIGN have received the German Design Award for Excellent Product Design in the category Kitchen.
Solingen, Germany - February 12th, 2018 - On Friday the combined team of Sternsteiger Stahlwaren and UBUTT DESIGN has been honored to receive the German Design Award 2018 for Excellent Product Design in the category Kitchen for designing the Achilles kitchen knife.
The two companies joined forces a few years ago to develop the next generation of kitchen knives coming from the Solingen, the famous city of blades in Germany.
The Achilles kitchen knife features a unique design and has been in development for at least three years. The knife is now ready to hit the store shelves and Sternsteiger is currently preparing the launch of Achilles via the well known crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
Once the product has been launched via Kickstarter Sternsteiger Stahlwaren will start selling the product online and in selected stores worldwide.

For a marketing campaign, we are looking for interesting people who would like to know more about our latest product in front of the camera in different languages. The recording takes about 30 minutes and the finished video will be about 30-60 seconds long. As a thank-you note, every participant receives one of our high-quality kitchen knives, plus an expense allowance for the journey.
The video shooting will take place in our premises in Solingen on 20th January 2018, an exact time will be given to you individually so that you don't have to wait long on site.
